4/27 - Schluchsee, Germany and Colmar, France (Monday)

We drove to Schluchsee, Germany.  Three years ago we attended the Feast in Schluchsee so the kids were so excited to go back and visit.  The area was bursting with varied green foliage and colorful flowers.  We stopped at a pick-your-own tulip farm, which was a highlight of mine.  The girls remembered eating canned fish in paprika sauce, so we picked up six cans of fish, German brandy, and a couple of hand-made toys for the boys.

We checked into our apartment just outside of Colmar, France in a town called Ingersheim.  The apartment had a pool and a sauna.  The breakfast cafeteria was pretty good.  We cooked our dinners in the apartment.
